I’m Hunter Smith, a Laguna Beach native and lifelong surfer. I’ve spent years in the water, and I know how important it is to feel calm, confident, and in control out there. As both a coach and a father, I take safety, awareness, and trust seriously. My approach is hands-on and personalized, focused on helping you feel comfortable in the ocean while building real skill from the start. This isn’t a crowded, one-size-fits-all lesson. It’s private coaching designed to give you a solid foundation and a great experience in the water. Laguna Coast Surf School is where I share that, in the waves I’ve grown up surfing.
